Five Dead, Including Two Toddlers, in Firozabad Firecracker Explosion

An explosion at an illegal firecracker factory in Firozabad resulted in five deaths and multiple injuries, sparking a thorough investigation.

The explosion occurred in a house used for storing firecrackers in Naushera, Firozabad, causing extensive damage to surrounding homes.
The deceased were identified as Meera Devi (40), Aman (20), Gautam (18), Ichha (3), and Kalu (2).
Rescue operations, involving JCB and hydraulic machines, continued late into the night, with ten individuals rescued and taken to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses allege that the factory was operating illegally with police officials being bribed to overlook safety violations.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and announced compensation for the families of the deceased.
