Five Dead in Arizona After Jet Crashes into Car During Aborted Takeoff

A Honda HA-420 business jet failed to lift off from Falcon Field Airport, crashing through a fence and into a vehicle, resulting in a fiery accident.

The crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. local time on Tuesday near Falcon Field Airport in Mesa, Arizona.
Among the victims were four passengers on the jet, including a 12-year-old boy, and the driver of the vehicle struck by the plane.
The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation with assistance from the FAA and local authorities.
The jet, which was headed to Provo, Utah, failed to take off and crashed through the airport's perimeter fence.
One passenger survived the crash with serious burn injuries and is currently hospitalized.
