Overview
- On May 24, the DGSI arrested and placed under judicial supervision five individuals linked to the economic-intelligence firm Archange Solutions Osint over alleged breaches of national defence secrecy
- The Paris public prosecutor’s office filed charges on June 3 accusing them of stealing, diverting, reproducing and disclosing classified defence documents and of unauthorised intermediation in war-materials trade
- Three of those charged are former military officers, two of whom previously held sensitive roles such as risk analysis at the Élysée Palace
- David B., a French citizen born in Tajikistan in 1991, is identified as the main suspect after founding Archange Solutions Osint in September 2024
- Defence lawyers say the investigating judge has retained only the least serious charges so far and pledge to demonstrate their clients’ innocence
