Five Charged in Vaughan Home Invasion Killing as Police Seek 16-Year-Old Suspect

York Regional Police charged five people in the Aug. 31 killing of Abdul Aleem Farooqi, 46, during a home invasion on Andreeta Drive.
Amir Wiam Mohammad Abuhmid, 26, of Mississauga faces a first-degree murder charge along with robbery with a firearm and related offences.
Police obtained authorization to identify a wanted 16-year-old as Jayshaun Williams, who is sought for first-degree murder and is believed to be in the GTA.
Search warrants executed Nov. 10 at residences in Toronto and Mississauga led to four arrests and the seizure of evidence tied to the case.
Additional charges include possession of property obtained by crime against Choszen Roshan Phillip, 25, and two 16-year-olds, and accessory after the fact against Jahvon St Patrick McNarin, 34, with all five accused held in custody after court appearances.
