Overview
- Rotterdam-IJsselmonde: a 20-year-old man was killed on Flying Dutchmanstraat and police have arrested five suspects aged 17 to 24 from Rotterdam, Krimpen aan den IJssel and Capelle aan den IJssel as the investigation continues; a large machete was found nearby.
- Utrecht Centraal: one person was injured in a reported stabbing around 21:00 and police arrested one individual as part of an inquiry that kept part of the Stationsplein cordoned off.
- Coevorden: police released blurred images of suspects in a severe group assault from the night of 5–6 July, urging them to come forward within a week or face publication of recognizable footage; no arrests have been made.
- Boxmeer: a 43-year-old suspect remains in restrictive custody in the probe into a 39-year-old man found dead in a stolen car, with investigators considering a possible link to a Belgian drug lab but saying there are no indications of homicide so far; his 20-year-old daughter was released but remains a suspect.
- Breukelen: the municipality confirmed and corrected a counting error that misallocated 38 votes between GroenLinks–PvdA candidates Marjolein Moorman and Luc Stultiens, with final certification by the Kiesraad scheduled for November 7.
