  • Avon & Somerset Police imposed Section 14 conditions and Section 60AA face-covering powers, set protest and exclusion zones, and ordered some counter-protesters to leave, with powers in place until 10pm.
  • Five people were arrested in total, including four on suspicion of assaulting police officers and one for failing to provide details, with criminal investigations to follow.
  • Police said all five arrested had traveled from outside Bristol, with four men placed on conditional bail and a woman released.
