Fischtown Pinguins Secure Spot in DEL Playoff Quarterfinals

Bremerhaven's win over Adler Mannheim guarantees their place in the top six with four games left in the regular season.

The Fischtown Pinguins defeated Adler Mannheim 5-3 in a rescheduled game, ensuring their spot in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) playoff quarterfinals.
With 48 of 52 regular-season games completed, Bremerhaven cannot be displaced from the top six in the standings.
This marks the fifth team to secure a quarterfinal berth, joining ERC Ingolstadt, Eisbären Berlin, Mannheim, and Red Bull München.
The remaining two quarterfinal spots will be determined through a qualification round starting on March 9.
Since joining the DEL in 2016, Bremerhaven has reached the quarterfinals every year except one.
