First Trailer for Alec Baldwin's 'Rust' Debuts Ahead of May Release

The trailer for 'Rust' was released on March 26, 2025, showcasing Alec Baldwin as an outlaw in the 1880s Western drama.
The film's production was halted in 2021 following the accidental on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who is honored in the film's closing credits.
Alec Baldwin's manslaughter charges were dismissed in 2024 due to prosecutorial misconduct, while armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was convicted and is serving an 18-month prison sentence.
The movie resumed production in 2023 with Bianca Cline completing Hutchins' cinematography work and premiered at the Camerimage Film Festival in November 2024.
Proceeds from the film will go to Hutchins' widower, Matthew Hutchins, and their son as part of a wrongful death settlement agreement.
