First Permanent 'Friends'-Themed Central Perk Coffee Shop Opens in Boston

Shop Honors Late 'Friends' Star Matthew Perry, Features Show-Inspired Menu Curated by Celebrity Chef Tom Colicchio

The first permanent Central Perk coffee shop, inspired by the popular sitcom 'Friends', has opened in Boston.
The opening was delayed due to the death of Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing in the show, and the shop now honors him with coffee sleeves featuring one of his character's quotes.
The coffee shop features numerous references to the show, including a modern interpretation of the iconic orange couch and coffee blends named after the show's catchphrases.
The menu, curated by celebrity chef Tom Colicchio, includes food items named after elements from the show, such as 'Joey’s Meatball Sandwich' and 'The Moist Maker Turkey Sandwich'.
The shop is a collaboration between Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and CenPer, and is located on Boston’s Newbury Street.
