- The parade steps off from City Hall Plaza at 6 p.m. before the 7 p.m. Boston Common fireworks.

- MBTA service is free from 8 p.m. on subways, buses, ferries and The RIDE, with Commuter Rail free at North and South Station platforms and last trains around 2 a.m.
- Officials anticipate hundreds of thousands of attendees and will enforce bans on public drinking, personal fireworks and drones, along with street closures and parking restrictions.
- Ice sculptures span the waterfront with free boat shuttles from 1–5 p.m., Frog Pond hosts skating shows at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., and forecasters expect temperatures in the 20s.
