First Look at Mortal Kombat 2 Highlights Johnny Cage, Kitana, and Shao Kahn

The sequel, set for October 24 release, will feature the iconic Mortal Kombat tournament with higher stakes and new characters.

Warner Bros. has unveiled first-look images of Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, Adeline Rudolph as Kitana, and Martyn Ford as Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 2.
The sequel will include the Mortal Kombat tournament, with Earthrealm's fate at stake if it loses its 10th consecutive match against Outworld.
The film will expand its roster of female characters with the addition of Kitana, Jade, and Queen Sindel, alongside other unannounced characters.
Returning cast members include Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, among others.
The movie will explore new realms and feature IMAX-enhanced visuals, aiming for a larger-scale and more intense cinematic experience.
