First Authorized Led Zeppelin Documentary to Premiere in IMAX February 2025

‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ explores the band’s origins with rare footage, archival interviews, and a groundbreaking cinematic experience.

The documentary, directed by Bernard MacMahon, is the first to be officially authorized by Led Zeppelin and features the band’s story told in their own words.
Previously unseen footage, photographs, and music recordings were meticulously restored for IMAX, creating an immersive experience for viewers.
The film includes rare interviews with surviving members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones, as well as a never-before-heard archival interview with late drummer John Bonham.
‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ focuses on the band's formation and rise to fame in the 1960s, showcasing early performances and pivotal moments in their career.
The film will debut in IMAX theaters on February 7, 2025, with early access screenings in select markets on February 5.
