First Anniversary of Ram Mandir Consecration Celebrated with Grand Festivities

Ayodhya and Janakpur mark the milestone with prayers, cultural events, and massive public participation following the Hindu calendar.

Ayodhya hosted thousands of devotees for the first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol, held on January 11, 2025, as per the Hindu calendar.
Nepal's Janakpur lit 1.25 lakh lamps and organized cultural events to celebrate the occasion, reflecting the shared heritage of the region.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes, calling the temple a symbol of India's cultural and spiritual legacy, while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led rituals at the temple.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust organized three days of ceremonies, including yajnas, recitations, and cultural programs to engage devotees and saints from across the country.
The temple, still under construction and expected to be completed by late 2025, continues to attract millions of pilgrims, solidifying Ayodhya's role as a major spiritual hub.
