Firoz Khan, Mastermind of 2022 Jaipur Serial Blasts Plot, Arrested After Three Years

The founding member of the Al Sufa terror group was apprehended in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, and will be handed over to the NIA for further investigation.

• Firoz Khan, the prime accused in the 2022 Jaipur serial blasts conspiracy, was arrested on April 2, 2025, in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, after evading capture for three years.
• Khan, a founding member of the Al Sufa terror group, carried a ₹5 lakh reward announced by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
• The 2022 plot was uncovered when Rajasthan Police seized 12 kg of explosives in Nimbahera, leading to the arrest of ten other suspects now in Jaipur jail.
• The Madhya Pradesh government previously demolished properties linked to Khan and three other accused as part of efforts to dismantle the Al Sufa network.
• Khan is currently being interrogated by Madhya Pradesh Police and will be transferred to the NIA for further investigation into the interstate terror network.
