Overview

• Bombers de la Generalitat evacuated 233 people from a Coma-ruga hotel after a vehicle ignited in the underground parking, sending smoke up the stairwell to the first and second floors.
• The parking fire was declared out at 04:28 and, after ventilation and inspections, guests returned around 06:00; the incident caused a water leak and damaged part of the hotel’s electrical wiring.
• SEM treated 16 people for mild smoke inhalation at the hotel, discharging 15 at the scene and transferring one to Hospital del Vendrell.
