Fire Erupts on Rooftop of Luxury Manhattan High-Rise

A blaze at The Set in Hudson Yards was quickly controlled, with no injuries reported.

The fire started around 11:30 a.m. ET on the roof of The Set, a 44-story luxury apartment building in Hudson Yards, Manhattan.
Approximately 80 firefighters responded to the scene, and the fire was declared under control within about 40 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by fire marshals.
The Set, known for its hotel-like living quarters, saw residents and staff evacuate without hearing alarms during the incident.
Emergency services temporarily closed a section of 10th Avenue, but the area was cleared and reopened shortly after an 'all clear' was given.
