Overview

- More than 20 units, including aerial assets and a hazardous materials team, responded and shifted to a defensive attack after a partial roof collapse complicated access.
- No one was inside the residence at ignition and no injuries were reported, according to fire officials.
- Firefighters contained the incident to the Spoelstra property and monitored hot spots through the morning as neighboring homes were kept safe.
