• Firefighters and well-wishers lined Banbury Road and Queens Avenue as Sadler’s Union-flag-draped coffin traveled to St Edburg’s Church.
• A guard of honour and minute’s silence took place outside Bicester Fire Station with flags lowered in tribute to the 20-year veteran.
• Two fellow firefighters who sustained serious injuries in the May 15 blaze have since been discharged from hospital.
