Overview
- Police and fire officials said a blaze broke out just before 1 p.m. Friday in a third-floor unit in Akabane Kita, Kita Ward.
- About 30 square meters of the room burned, and the fire was declared out at around 4:25 p.m. after a large response.
- Tokyo Fire Department dispatched 29 vehicles, including pumpers, to bring the incident under control.
- Parko self-evacuated and was taken to a hospital with a minor burn to her right hand, while two other residents suffered mild injuries from smoke.
