Over 1,400 Finnish artists have signed a petition demanding Israel be banned from the Eurovision song contest due to alleged war crimes in Gaza.
The petition suggests that if Israel is not excluded, the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle) should boycott the contest.
The Eurovision Broadcasting Union (EBU) has previously stated that Israel's public broadcaster, Kan, complies with all competition rules and will be able to participate in this year's contest.
Israel has been participating in the Eurovision song contest for 50 years.
