Final Week for Bienestar Pensions as Madres Trabajadoras Registration Nears Deadline

Authorities are running in-person, alphabetized enrollments at local modules and have urged applicants to ignore the false “Bono Mujer” scheme.

Overview

  • Registration for Pensión Mujeres Bienestar (women 60–64) and Pensión Adultos Mayores (65+) runs through August 30 on an alphabetical schedule, while Madres Trabajadoras remains open through August 31.
  • Madres Trabajadoras targets single mothers with children under 4 and opera­tes in selected regions in states such as Baja California, Chihuahua, Jalisco, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Zacatecas, Michoacán, Hidalgo, Durango, Guerrero, San Luis Potosí and Nayarit.
  • Benefit amounts include 3,000 pesos bimonthly for Pensión Mujeres Bienestar, 6,200 pesos for Adultos Mayores, and for Madres Trabajadoras 1,650 pesos per child (up to three) or 3,720 pesos for children with disabilities.
  • Enrollment is face-to-face at Bienestar modules from 10:00 to 16:00 using the locator at https://ubicatumodulo.bienestar.gob.mx/, with a domiciliary visit option for those unable to attend; bring original and copies of ID, CURP, birth certificate and proof of address.
  • The government confirmed the purported “Bono Mujer” does not exist and reminded the public that registration is free and without intermediaries; first deposits for new beneficiaries are slated to begin in September, and the Beca Rita Cetina will take online applications nationwide from September 15–30 using Llave MX.
