• Diego Arellano Diaz was taken into custody on July 29 in Newport Beach as the final suspect linked to the Chilean-operated ATM heist ring.
• Prosecutors allege he used an improvised explosive device on July 20 to breach an ATM at a San Ramon Target store, causing damage but no injuries.
• He faces up to 20 years in prison for bank robbery, five years for conspiracy and additional state charges for assault with a deadly weapon.
