Final Fantasy XVI's Clive Rosfield Joins Tekken 8 as a Guest Fighter

Clive will be available on December 16 for season pass holders, featuring his Eikon abilities and a new Final Fantasy-themed stage.

Clive Rosfield, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XVI, is the final character in Tekken 8's Year 1 DLC pass and will be playable starting December 16 for season pass holders, with general availability on December 19.
The character's moveset incorporates his Eikon-based abilities, including fire and ice attacks, and features his companion Torgal assisting in some moves.
Clive's addition comes with a new battle stage, Phoenix Gate, complete with Ifrit and Phoenix battling in the background and the Final Fantasy XVI track 'Find the Flame' as its theme.
While Clive's inclusion has excited many fans, others expressed disappointment, as there had been significant demand for Final Fantasy VII's Tifa Lockhart to join the roster instead.
This marks the second Final Fantasy character crossover in the Tekken series, following Noctis from Final Fantasy XV in Tekken 7, continuing a collaboration trend between Square Enix and Bandai Namco.
