Final Fantasy XIV's Dawntrail Expansion Promises 'Second Rebirth' for the Game

Final Fantasy XIV's executive producer, Naoki Yoshida, has described the upcoming Dawntrail expansion as a 'second rebirth' for the popular MMO, similar to the game's first major overhaul, A Realm Reborn.
Dawntrail is expected to be 'three or four times more solid' than previous expansions, marking a shift in the game's direction.
The expansion will introduce significant updates including new jobs, a new playable race, a new location, a graphical update to character models, and more detailed ways to dye gear.
Dawntrail is set in the new region of Tural and will introduce two new cities, Tuliyollal and Solution Nine, along with a vast continent for new adventures.
The expansion is scheduled for release in Summer 2024.
