Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Lands on PC January 23 with Detailed System Requirements

Square Enix reveals specs and features for the PC release, including 4K Ultra settings and enhanced visuals, but Steam Deck compatibility remains unconfirmed.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on January 23, 2025, following 11 months of PlayStation 5 exclusivity.
The game offers three preset graphics configurations: Minimum (30 FPS at 1080p), Recommended (60 FPS at 1080p), and Ultra (60 FPS at 4K).
Ultra settings require a high-end GPU like the NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, 16GB RAM, and 155GB of SSD storage.
The PC version introduces features like DLSS, enhanced textures and modeling, improved lighting, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support.
Square Enix has not yet confirmed whether the game will be verified for Steam Deck, though optimization efforts for the handheld are reportedly ongoing.
