Overview

  • Classic Mode has been entirely rebuilt to faithfully replicate the 1997 PlayStation game and reintroduce dialogue cut from the original release.
  • Enhanced Mode delivers a fully rewritten script by original director Yasumi Matsuno to support new voice acting and in-battle character dialogues for Agrias, Cid and Mustadio.
  • The remake overhauls Errands as interactive mini-games with unit progression mechanics to deepen sidequest engagement.
  • User experience upgrades include a retooled interface, new difficulty settings and the State of the Realm system for chronological story tracking.
  • The Ivalice Chronicles will launch on September 30, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
