• Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will launch on September 30, 2025 on modern consoles, marking the first official availability of the PS1 game on current hardware.
• The compilation includes the unaltered PS1 version with its updated 2007 PSP translation alongside a fully remastered edition.
• The enhanced version features high-definition graphics, newly recorded voice acting, a re-edited script and quality-of-life tools such as fast-forward and save-anywhere plus three new difficulty modes to rebalance gameplay.
• Director Kazutoyo Maehiro led the effort to rebuild missing source code and master data through exhaustive analysis of existing versions and manual reconstruction.
