Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma Faces Legal Action Over Derogatory Posts Against Andhra CM

Ram Gopal Varma is accused of posting derogatory content about Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh, and daughter-in-law Brahmini.
The complaint was lodged by a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader in Prakasam district, leading to a case under the Information Technology Act.
Varma's controversial posts were reportedly part of a promotional campaign for his film 'Vyuham', which critiques political figures.
The filmmaker, known for his ties to the YSR Congress Party, has a history of criticizing TDP leaders, including through his previous film 'Lakshmi's NTR'.
This legal action comes amid a broader crackdown on social media posts by the coalition government of TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP.
