Filming Begins for German-Dutch 'Tatort' Crossover

The new episodes feature detective Thorsten Falke crossing borders to solve a mystery involving a missing car dealer.

The 'Tatort' series is filming a double episode set in both Germany and the Netherlands, marking only the second cross-border collaboration in its history.
Wotan Wilke Möhring returns as detective Thorsten Falke, joined by Gaite Jansen as Dutch detective Lynn de Baer.
Production will continue until December 17 in locations including Hamburg, Emden, and Groningen.
The episodes, titled 'Ein guter Tag' and 'Schwarzer Schnee,' are expected to air in 2026 on Germany's ARD and the Netherlands' NPO.
The storyline involves investigating the sudden disappearance of a car dealer, with dialogue in both German and Dutch, accompanied by subtitles.
