- INAH confirmed the 36th Feria Internacional del Libro de Antropología e Historia will run free to the public under the theme of rights and cultural diversity.
- Côte d’Ivoire and the Mexican state of Tabasco are guests of honor, with UNESCO and the Festival de las Industrias Creativas y Culturales taking part as special partners.
- The schedule features more than 400 activities, including 191 editorial presentations, 78 workshops, 11 academic forums and seven exhibitions.
- The fair will open with the XXVII Premio Antonio García Cubas, which for the first time adds a category for Book in Indigenous Languages.
- The IV Festival de Cine Antropológico will screen 24 works and award the Venado de Plata, with tributes planned including an in‑memoriam to journalist Huemanzin Rodríguez.
