Overview

• The championship runs during FIT 2025 at La Rural in Buenos Aires with activities scheduled from 14:00 to 20:00 on both days.
• Organizers report 120 competitors across 13 categories spanning classics like Margherita STG to formats such as Romana in teglia, Pizza In Pala and gluten-free, plus speed, length and freestyle skills showcases.
• More than 30 master pizzaioli will judge, with Argentine figures Néstor Gattorna and Carola and Victoria Santoro on the panel and Italian star Vincenzo Capuano appearing as a special guest.
• Capuano will also lead a masterclass on September 30 at Scuola Pizzaioli Buenos Aires, following the weekend competitions.
• Public access is described by organizers as free with tastings, workshops and a Mini Pizzaioli contest, and all pizzas produced will be donated to the Comunidad de San Egidio, with the overall winner earning a training trip to Italy.
