Overview
- Ivan Jarvis Floyd, 22, was booked Thursday, Nov. 6, on a charge of certain persons forbidden to carry a firearm after being wounded during the Oct. 4 attack.
- Charging documents state the gun recovered where Floyd was found at the scene matched a weapon shown in social media connected to a Sept. 29 robbery.
- Police also filed unrelated counts of first-degree robbery and first- and second-degree theft and sought bond revocations in older cases including reckless murder, assault and promoting prison contraband.
- Four others were previously arrested: a juvenile and adults Dantavious McGhee and Kemontae Hood on capital murder and assault counts, and Javorick Whiting on attempted murder.
- Investigators say the late-night downtown shooting near Bibb and Commerce killed Jeremiah Morris and Shalanda Williams and wounded 12 others, and they continue to seek tips for additional arrests.
