FIFA Tops 1 Million 2026 World Cup Tickets Sold as Next Sales Window Opens Oct. 27

Fans will enter a random draw via a FIFA ID under set purchase limits and an official exchange designed to broaden access and deter unauthorized resales.

  • More than one million tickets were purchased in the Visa presale by fans from 212 countries and territories, according to FIFA.
  • Residents of the host nations led demand in order of the United States, Canada and Mexico, with England, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Argentina (ninth) and France rounding out the top ten.
  • The next public registration period opens on Oct. 27 for a brief window before a random draw, offering individual match tickets as well as stadium and team packages.
  • FIFA requires a FIFA ID to register and caps purchases at up to four tickets per match and up to 10 matches per person, for a maximum of 40 tickets.
