Overview
- Fans must register on FIFA’s website from 10–19 September using a Visa card to enter a random allocation rather than buy directly.
- Successful registrants will be notified from 29 September and assigned purchase slots beginning 1 October, with inventory spanning all 104 matches plus venue or day packages.
- Buyers face caps of four tickets per match and 40 in total across the tournament, and FIFA says an official resale platform will be available.
- Two further windows follow: a late-October registration round open to other payment methods and a post–5 December draw phase for specific-match tickets, with any leftovers sold first-come online and no stadium box offices.
- Holding a ticket does not guarantee border entry, as travelers must secure separate online authorizations for the US and Canada that carry fees.
