FIFA Opens Second 2026 World Cup Ticket Draw With Priority for North American Fans

Lottery winners receive 72-hour buying windows starting in November, first for host-country residents, then for international buyers.

Overview

  • Phase 2 Early Ticket Draw is open Oct. 27–31 at 11 a.m. ET, with roughly 1 million tickets allocated via randomized selection.
  • Residents of the United States, Canada and Mexico get a domestic exclusivity slot to buy games in their own country, with 75% of single-match tickets in this phase set aside for that period starting Nov. 12.
  • International purchase windows open Nov. 17, and selected entrants are notified at least 48 hours before their 72-hour slot.
  • Registration requires a FIFA ID and entrants must be 18 or older; the initial Visa presale drew about 4.5 million applicants and sold over 1 million tickets.
  • FIFA is using dynamic pricing, with face values from about $60 for select group-stage games to $6,730 for the final, and an official resale platform is operating as secondary listings surge above face value in some cases.
