Overview

• FIFA aims to recruit about 65,000 volunteers across 16 host cities in Mexico, the United States and Canada for the expanded 48-team tournament
• Applications are submitted through the centralized FIFA portal, with host cities such as Dallas, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey launching local registration drives
• Shortlisted candidates will face city-level tryouts and interviews from October 2025 through January 2026, followed by role assignments between December 2025 and March 2026 and training sessions from March to June 2026
• Volunteers will staff diverse functions—ranging from logistics and accreditation to media support, fan zones and doping control—and receive meals, official accreditation and exclusive merchandise
