Overview
- Registration for the Visa-only lottery runs Sept. 10–19, and applications can be submitted at any time during the window without affecting selection odds.
- Fans must create a FIFA ID and use an eligible 3D Secure Visa card, with purchases in this first phase limited to Visa payment methods.
- FIFA will email results no earlier than Sept. 29 and assign purchase windows beginning Oct. 1, and selection grants a time slot but not ticket availability.
- Additional phases include the Early Ticket Draw from Oct. 27–31 and a Random Selection Draw after the Dec. 5 World Cup draw, followed by first-come sales of any remaining tickets.
- Published prices start at $60 for group matches and can reach about $6,730 for the final, with dynamic pricing in effect, caps of up to 10 match registrations and four tickets per match, an official resale platform coming, and hospitality packages already on sale.
