- Applications are open from July 14 to July 17 and must be submitted through the Portal Único de Acesso ao Ensino Superior.
- The Ministry of Education is offering about 44,867–44,900 places for the second semester and has set aside 50% of them for the Fies Social modality.
- Students eligible for Fies Social are those with per‑capita family income up to half a minimum wage and active CadÚnico registration, and they may receive up to 100% financing for tuition.
- Main eligibility rules require participation in the Enem since 2010, an average score of at least 450 across exams, a nonzero essay grade, and family income per person up to three minimum wages, and applicants with outstanding Fies debts cannot apply.
