Fidough Makes Pokémon GO Debut in Global Challenge Event

The Fidough Fetch event in Pokémon GO runs from January 3 at 3 PM PST to January 7, featuring the debut of Fidough and its evolution, Dachsbun.
Players must work together to complete a Global Challenge of making 'Nice Throws' to unlock Fidough, following a last-minute adjustment that removed the more difficult 'Nice Curveball Throws' requirement.
The event includes boosted wild spawns of select Pokémon, such as Growlithe, Voltorb, and Electrike, with some having increased chances of being Shiny.
Rewards for reaching six challenge levels include XP and Stardust boosts, event-themed Field Research tasks, and new wild spawns like Hisuian Growlithe and Greavard.
Unlike most events tied to local time, the Fidough Fetch event starts globally at the same time, which has caused some confusion among players in different time zones.
