Overview
- FIA and the Human Organ Transplant Authority carried out raids that, on June 24, uncovered a covert processing site in Sector F-7/1 and prompted the arrest of five suspects.
- Interrogation led officers to a linked facility in Sector E-11 where refrigerators, processing equipment and additional biological material were recovered and two more workers were detained.
- Investigators seized large quantities of fresh, dried and processed placenta along with packaging and machinery, and moved all suspects to undisclosed locations for further questioning.
