  • Pauline Ferrand-Prevot soloed to victory on the 124.1 km final stage from Praz-sur-Arly to Chatel, finishing 3 minutes 42 seconds ahead of Demi Vollering.
  • Her attack seven kilometres from the finish split the peloton on the last climb and secured both the stage win and the yellow jersey.
  • The day before, she had taken the overall lead by dropping rivals seven kilometres from the Col de la Madeleine summit to win stage eight.
  • Lorena Wiebes has led the points classification since stage three and remains on track to win the green jersey over Marianne Vos.
  • At 33, Ferrand-Prevot becomes the first Frenchwoman to win the modern women’s Tour de France Femmes, adding to her Olympic cross-country mountain bike gold and 15 world titles.
