Overview
- TN and Confessore’s family announced Friday that the meteorologist was found unconscious at his home in the Versalles neighborhood and was pronounced dead after police and SAME responders performed CPR around 3 a.m.
- Early emergency and police reports state he suffered a likely cardiac arrest, though no official medical or forensic report has been released to confirm the cause.
- Colleagues at TN, led on air by Mario Massaccesi, delivered emotional tributes describing Confessore as a long‑time presence on the channel and the team’s ‘man of the weather.’
- Confessore worked at the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional in the early 1990s and joined Artear/TN in December 1995, building more than 30 years on television and publishing the 2006 book Meteorología para todos.
- His family has asked for privacy for his wife and daughters as media coverage and public tributes continue and the network said it will provide further information when official findings are available.
