• East Suffolk Council’s Experimental Traffic Regulation Order went live on July 7, barring campervans and motorhomes from Undercliff Road East
• New markings establish unlimited car-only bays, three-hour disabled parking zones and dedicated motorcycle bays along the beachfront road
• Vehicles parked in violation between June 30 and July 18 risk being towed as a warning and to reinforce the new restrictions
• Alternative sites at Manor Terrace, Garrison Lane and Golf Road now permit campervan parking for up to three nights with no return for seven days
• The council will monitor footway condition, visibility and access over the summer before deciding whether to make the ban permanent
