Felix Jones has returned to the South Africa coaching team as an assistant coach, starting March 1, 2025.
Jones previously played a key role in the Springboks' 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup victories before a brief stint with England's coaching staff.
His departure from England followed reported dissatisfaction with the working environment under head coach Steve Borthwick, though his contract officially ended in December 2024.
Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus highlighted Jones' experience in England as valuable for adapting to international challenges ahead of the 2027 World Cup in Australia.
Jones joins a robust coaching team of six assistants, including Tony Brown and Jerry Flannery, as South Africa aims to sustain its dominance in world rugby.
