Felix Auger-Aliassime Wins Thrilling Open Occitanie Final for Second Title of 2025

The Canadian tennis star overcame American qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic in a hard-fought three-set match to claim his seventh ATP title.

Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-2, 6-7(7), 7-6(2) in the Open Occitanie final in Montpellier, France, on Sunday.
This victory marks Auger-Aliassime's second ATP title of 2025, following his win at the Adelaide International in January.
The 24-year-old Canadian delivered 19 aces and saved a critical break point in the third set to secure the win in a match lasting 2 hours and 39 minutes.
Kovacevic, ranked 102nd and playing in his first ATP Tour final, pushed Auger-Aliassime to the limit, saving two championship points in the second set and forcing a decisive third-set tiebreak.
With this win, Auger-Aliassime now holds seven ATP titles, six of which have come on indoor hard courts since February 2022.
