FedEx Driver Charged After French Bulldog Dies in Hot Truck

The driver allegedly stole the $5,500 dog while on duty, leading to its death from heat exposure.

Kimani Joehon Marshall, 44, is accused of stealing the dog during his delivery route in North Carolina.
The French bulldog, named Tori, was valued at $5,500 and died from suspected heatstroke inside the truck.
Marshall turned himself in and faces charges including larceny of a dog and cruelty to animals.
FedEx confirmed that Marshall is no longer employed by the company.
The dog's owners had previously declined Marshall's request to breed Tori with one of his dogs.
