Federal Legislation to Transfer Land Use Authority to Jasper Introduced

The legislation requires the creation of a community development plan, which must be approved by the Alberta government.
Jasper officials are also seeking provincial assistance to stabilize the town's budget, as the fire significantly reduced property tax revenue.
