FDNY Rescues Two Window Washers Trapped on Dangling Scaffolding 78 Stories Up

- FDNY crews responded at approximately 9:45 a.m., securing the area and working to stabilize the swaying rig using lifesaving ropes.
- The workers were wearing harnesses but were not secured to safety lines, increasing the risk during the rescue operation.
- Both workers were safely rescued and transported to NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
