FDA Issues Highest Risk Recall for Cal Yee Farm Chocolate Products

Undeclared allergens in Cal Yee Farm chocolates and snacks could pose life-threatening risks to individuals with severe allergies.

The FDA has classified the recall of several Cal Yee Farm products as Class I, the most serious recall level, due to undeclared allergens.
Recalled items include dark chocolate almonds, dark chocolate walnuts, dark chocolate apricots, yogurt-coated almonds, and tropical trail mix, among others.
The undeclared allergens include milk, soy, wheat, sesame, synthetic dye FD&C #6, and almonds, which could trigger severe or fatal allergic reactions.
The products were distributed in nine U.S. states and sold online, with no illnesses reported to date.
Consumers with allergies are advised to dispose of or return the products for a full refund and contact the company for further information.
