  • FDA classified the recall as Class II on July 17, indicating that exposure to the products may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health effects.
  • Ten ice cream bar flavors, including Chocolate Crunch Cake and Cool Watermelon Bars, are covered under lot numbers 24351–25156.
  • The recalled products were distributed through schools and vending trucks in 23 U.S. states and Nassau, Bahamas.
  • Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious infections such as listeriosis in vulnerable populations, including pregnant women, older adults and immunocompromised individuals.
  • Shoppers can verify affected items by checking for lot numbers 24351 through 25156 on individual bar wrappers or master case labels.
